1920 may not seem like that long ago however it has been 100 years since the “roaring 20s.”  Our society has come very far in this time. Within these 100 years we have made advancements in technology, science, medicine, and so much more.

Some of the newest technologies of the 1920s include cars, traffic lights, hairdryers, bandaids, radios and tv transmissions.  Some of the newest innovations of this decade are more advanced version of previous inventions such as Tesla driver assistance program, computers, cell phones and even robotic vacuum cleaners.  More recent groundbreaking technologies that changed the world during this time was the invention of the internet, social media, streaming platforms and further understanding of computer programming.

Science has also come a long way in 100 years. Through medicine and engineering we have almost doubled our understandings of scientific principles.  Scientists have learned how to create vaccines for many diseases, vitamins and supplements, antibiotics, penicillin, airplanes, aerodynamics, bulldozers and polygraphs.

These are just a few of the notable discoveries and inventions made or advanced from the 1920s. Looking back to the past and seeing what we can accomplish makes our future seem bright.
