This year’s NFL draft was like no other. Being one of the first live events since stay at home orders were mandated, the draft was live streamed from the basement of NFL commissioner Roger Goddell. Team officials were prohibited from meeting in person to draft, so general managers were more or less on their own during the draft.

With the number one pick, the Bengals took the consensus pick in quarterback and national champion Joe Burrow. Many believe he is the future of not only the Bengals but the NFL as well. The Giants selected offensive tackle Andrew Thomas with the 4th pick in the draft. The tackle from Georgia should help Giants quarterback Daniel Jones have more time to throw the ball, and give running back Saquon Barkely plenty of room to run. With the 11th pick, the New York Jets selected offensive tackle Mekhi Becton. His strength and power should give the Jets a boost on the offensive side of the ball. The Eagles drafted speedy wide receiver from TCU Jalen Reagor with the 21st pick, according to NFL.com. He gives quarterback Carson Wentz another target on offense and gives the Eagles a lethal speed duo on offense between Reagor and Deseasn Jackson. He’s definitely a player to watch for this season.
