Parkland’s golf team is a sport that is often overlooked at the high school. However, the team has been dominating their division for awhile now. Since the 2004-2005 season, they have not had a season with a losing record. Their last conference championship came in the 2013-2014 season and their last district championship came in the 2011-2012 season. They are currently 2-1 this season with wins over Whitehall and Easton. Parkland lost a handful of talented seniors last year and are looking towards building a better future for the team. Here is what senior golfer Udit Garg had to say about the future of Parkland Golf: “we are trying to set the golf team up for a good future and trying to perform this season.” Parkland’s golf team, coached by Mr.Kilpatrick, is hoping to edge their way into the playoffs and the state tournament this upcoming season.
