It’s no secret that American actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck is infatuated with Dunkin. In the 2024 Super Bowl, he created a commercial featuring Matt Damon and Tom Brady to form a fictional boy band called “The DunKings”. From the Super Bowl to the Grammys, The DunKings have made waves over the past few years. The fantasy band even received a movie featuring Charli D’Amelio along with other celebrities in 2024. Even if the movie was only 4 minutes long, it was received well enough to receive a sequel this year. A seven minute long version of the Super Bowl 2025 commercial was released, expanding on its comedic narrative.
The commercial has also been accompanied by “The DunKings $6 Meal Deal”, as opposed to last year’s Munchkin Skewers. The nationwide limited time meal deal features a box inspired by the fictional band and contains a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, hash browns, and a medium iced or hot coffee. Dunkin has also collabed with none other than iconic early 2000’s clothing brand, Juicy Couture. The tracksuits, launched on February 6th at 9am ET, were available in both hot pink and bright orange. The limited time items- as on brand for Juicy- are featuring bedazzled rhinestone branding.
It’s safe to say that the DunKings and DunkQueens are on the road to a dazzling show this year.
