September 4, 2025 Benson Boone dazzled Philadelphia with his electrifying performance for the American Heart World Tour.
It was a perfect Wednesday evening. The sun was still shining as the lines grew by the minute with excited fans of all ages. Waves of red, white, and blue flooded the outside of the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA all waiting for the moment to enter the Benson Boone: American Heart World Tour. One could feel the energy as soon as you entered the arena. To prepare the crowd for Boone, there was one opening act, an artist from England, Elliot James Reay.

The young 23 year old Elliot James Reay was nothing short of spectacular. He started the show off on a high note taking the audience back in time with his rock n’ roll 50’s inspired sound. He captivated the crowd with his authentically, old soul, and genuinity as he played songs from his debut EP All This To Say I Love You. Elliot James Reay and his two bandmates brought everyone to their feet with his rendition of Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. Overall, this Manchester kid, with high energy, made a lasting impression and most definitely left the stadium with some new fans from the states.
Once the lights went down, the Xfinity stadium became alive with the roar of the crowd knowing a star was on his way. Benson’s entrance was spectacular, memorable, and dramatic. The screen behind the stage split open and we were blinded as Benson emerged from the bright dramatic lights. The crowd erupted more then before, letting it be known this will be an unforgettable concert. He started the night with I Want to Be the One You Call, one of his top songs. The room was filled with vocals from every seat in the house singing along with Boone.

The whole night Benson was engaged with the audience, speaking between songs, constantly thanking the crowd, and sharing personal experiences. His humble nature and kindness made it easy to understand why his fans adore him so much. His top songs such as In the Stars, Mystical Magical, Mr. Electric Blue, and Young American Heart were all part of the evening and had the most special performances. For In the Stars (a song written in tribute to his grandmother) the lights went low, phone lights were lit, and he played piano for an emotional take on the song. Mystical Magical Benson came out on a chandelier hanging from the arena’s roof, floating around the stadium which gave fans a thrill. Mr. Electric Blue’s performance charged the whole stadium with extravagant lights and an overall indescribable vibe. Finally the tours anthem Young American Heart filled the arena with bright lights of red, white, and blue and shot out heart confetti everywhere. The encore was a powerful ending of Boone in a powder blue suit performing his hit, Cry. It really was the perfect way to end this high energy, lots of flips yet sentimental journey. There is no doubt fans left Philadelphia remembering all the Beautiful Things they experienced during the American Heart World Tour that night.
