About

     The Parkland Trumpet was founded in the 1930s by Parkland High School students. To this day, it continues to outline school, national, and international news, give insight on the student experience, and offer community related information to members of the Parkland School District and beyond. In 2019, the Parkland Trumpet went online! We as a staff and members of the Parkland community hope to continue to provide our readers with the same, consistent level of journalistic excellence for years to come! Make sure to look for our print editions in the rotunda, the library, and your english rooms for more content.

     Due to the recent COVID-19 breakout, the Parkland Trumpet will not be producing any more print newspapers for the 2019-2020 school year. We will however, be posting articles, and community content online so make sure to check back in!
