Kelly Bates is a sophomore at PHS and this is her first year writing for The Trumpet. Kelly enjoys writing articles about sports and entertainment, and some of her favorite hobbies are traveling, hiking, and reading. She is involved with various other groups here at Parkland, including the Student Senate, Amnesty International Club, and Political Science Club.
