Prom 2021

While Parkland’s 2021 Prom may look a little different, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. This year’s prom will be taking place at Bethlehem Steel Stacks on Saturday, May 8th, while obtaining Covid regulations and social distancing. Other than social distancing and keeping your masks on, of course, the most important part of prom is the fashion! There are many places in and around the Lehigh Valley with beautiful dresses and suits that you can get that won’t break the bank.

David’s Bridal, located in Whitehall, doesn’t just have wedding and bridesmaids dresses, but also has a wide variety of prom dresses.  Their dresses are very affordable and they have a wide range of sizes and colors. They are open, but it would be smart to make an appointment as many schools’ proms are near.  Senior Ally Hartzell said, “All of the employees were so helpful in making my decision on a dress, they helped me get excited about finding the perfect dress.” Visit their website: https://www.davidsbridal.com/prom-dresses/all-prom-dresses

Another great spot to get dresses that is also affordable is Windsor located at Lehigh Valley Mall. You don’t need an appointment and their dressing rooms are open. Senior Tori Bowman bought her dress at Windsor and said the following about looking forward to prom, “I’m really excited for prom to happen, I wasn’t sure if it was going to happen but when I heard it was, I went right to Windsor and bought a dress.”
