Students:  In an effort to more effectively use the spaces in our building we will be investigating the movement/removal of several locker bays in our High School.  While there are several reasons we are interested in doing this, the main reason is to maximize the educational spaces we have in our building.  As you may have noticed, our lockers take up significant space within our building.  Moving or removing select groups of lockers will free up valuable space that can be repurposed for other educational purposes, such as collaborative areas, small learning environments, or facilities that better serve the building’s needs.

In order to determine whether or not this is possible, we are asking all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to complete a Google Form that asks if you would like a locker assigned to you next school year.  If you use a locker, please indicate that you would like one assigned to you next year.  If you do not use a locker, please indicate that you do not want a locker assigned to you next year.  We will have a policy in place next year if you decide to change your mind.  Below is an example of what a repurposed locker bay may look like.  As we continue to investigate this matter we will work with both the students and staff to determine how to best utilize the spaces in our building moving forward. 

The survey will be shared before the Winter Holiday Break.
