Figuring out a plan to continue high school fall sports has been a difficult, yet necessary step towards allowing students to play. Governor Tom Wolfe’s recommendation was to discontinue high school sports until January of 2021. However, the decision was ultimately left up to the PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association) and the schools to decide. The sports board voted 25-5 in favor of continuing high school sports for the 2020-2021 school year, according to ABC news reporter Michael Rubinkam. Below is an updated schedule of the first practices and competitions for several of the high school sports.
