The 2020 VMA awards, although slightly different than normal due to COVID-19 safety precautions, still took place on August 30th.  This award show sponsored by MTV was hosted by actress/singer Keke Palmer and featured some of the most popular artists of the year including but not limited to Lady Gaga, BTS, Doja Cat, CNCO, Ariana Grande, Black Eyed Peas, Dababy, Lewis Capaldi, Jack Harlow, Miley Cirus, and The Weekend.

Awards for categories of every aspect of the music industry were presented varying from best dance performance to artist of the year.  Listed below are all the nominations and recipients of the 2020 VMA awards.
