All you need to know about this year’s homecoming

All+you+need+to+know+about+this+year%E2%80%99s+homecoming

Homecoming once again proved not to disappoint this year with fun activities, an amazing football game, and so much more. Homecoming was on October 14 and gave students a chance to get out and have a blast either with their friends or a date. Here’s everything that happened in this year’s homecoming game and dance.

The homecoming game this year was a huge victory as Parkland took down Bethlehem Catholic with ease as they won 40-3. Every seat in the OMS stadium seemed to be full with Parkland students waiting to see how the game would turn out. The crowd was roaring as after each play Parkland seemed to pull farther and farther ahead. Already, at halftime it seemed almost as if they had won the game as the score was 33-0 with no sign of them slowing down. As the game ended and students flooded out of the stadium it was confirmed that Parkland had put on a performance of a lifetime.

After the homecoming game came the dance. The dance was moved inside due to rain, but that didn’t stop anyone from having the time of their life. Many students showed up in style as they came in their most luxurious outfit looking to show out. Events were set up all throughout the cafeteria to entertain everyone. Music played as students gathered together with their group and danced along the music.

The homecoming game and dance were no doubt two of the best events that have occurred this school year. These events provide students that are new with an opportunity to get introduced to the school and older students to create lasting memories. Not the rain or anything else was able to stop the amazing time that was had this year. One thing’s for sure, students can’t wait for next year’s homecoming.
